Dominic F. Heffel, M.D.

Special Note: From June 2011 to June 2012 Dr. Heffel will not be seeing patients at North Valley Plastic Surgery. During this time, he will be completing a fellowship at the prestigious Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. The entire staff is eagerly anticipating his return.

Dr. Heffel attended college at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. He obtained his medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. in 1994.

After completing his training at UCLA Dr. Heffel served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at UCLA where he performed general surgery and specialized in Bariatric (weight-reduction) surgery.

Dr. Heffel pursued advanced training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. While in Miami, Florida, he performed reconstructive surgery for patients with congenital problems and for patients following trauma, cancer treatment, burns and massive weight loss. There, he was also trained by some of the leaders in aesthetic surgery.
