Breast augmentation is the most common plastic surgical procedure in the USA.  Until recently, breast augmentation has required placement of implants to give patients the results they desired, but now, at North Valley Plastic Surgery, we are the first in the Phoenix area to offer TRUE and REAL stem cell fat transfer which is a natural alternative. Stem Cell Breast Augmentation is a more natural alternative to having breast implants.

Fat transfers have been around for decades but using stem cell fat transfers to enhance or restore breasts is new.  Stem cells in fat are far more advantageous for cosmetic procedures than regular fat cells.  By using a patented centrifuge technology called LipoKit, stem cells can be isolated for maximum effectiveness.  A fat transfer that is rich in stem cells will increase the amount of active fat which provides optimal results.  Unlike synthetic substances or implants, stem cell rich fat gives soft and natural results.

The majority of the work of stem cells occurs at the cellular level.  Stem cells regenerate new tissue; giving permanently larger breasts.  Fat stem cells create new blood vessels that nourish the breast tissue and give off anti-inflammatory particles that help in the healing process.

Applications of Breast Stem Cell Fat Transfers

Every year, thousands of women have a lumpectomy for early-stage breast cancer, leaving an indentation in the surface of the breast.  Many women prefer to return their body to a natural state after surgery.  A stem cell fat transfer can restore the effect of lumpectomies or breast biopsies without synthetic substances.

Breast augmentation can also be accomplished with fat stem cells.  As the fat is injected in the body you will grow your own larger breasts.  There is no need for the introduction of any foreign or artificial materials into your body.  Although patients do not need to have large fat reserves to be a candidate, most patients are grateful to have fat reduced from the stomach, legs, arms, or other problem areas.

What to Expect

During the initial consultation, your Plastic Surgeon will discuss the areas of concern and from which area the fat should be harvested.  Before the fat can be injected into the patient, it must first be extracted and purified.  Liposuction removes the fat from the body to a specialized centrifuge called a LipoKit that separates the fat stem cells from undesirable impurities.  The vials of purified stem cell fat are slowly injected into the breasts.  Our board certified Plastic Surgeons pay careful attention to achieve symmetry and the desired shape.  This procedure can be done under general or twilight anesthesia.  You can go home the same day, 1-2 hours after surgery!
