Permanent Makeup
Permanent makeup uses a technique called micropigmentation. Permanent makeup application is a demanding procedure that is best done by an experienced and highly skilled technician. At North Valley Plastic Surgery our permanent makeup technicians are highly skilled and well trained.

This technique is similar to tattooing, but uses cosmetic ink. Permanent makeup can be done for the following areas:
- Eyebrows
- Top and Bottom Eyeliner
- Full Lips
- Lip Liner
- Lipstick
At North Valley Plastic Surgery one of our friendly licensed paramedical aestheticians or registered nurses will do these treatments.
What to Expect During the Procedure
A topical anesthetic is used on the area being treated; this allows for more comfort while the procedure is being performed.
What to Expect During the Recovery Period
Following the procedure the area will be swollen and tender to the touch, for the next 24-72 hours. Over the next five days a topical A&D ointment is applied to assist with the healing process and to minimize the risk of infection.
A follow-up appointment will be scheduled for one month following the procedure. This will allow for any necessary touch-ups.
