Sculptra

Sculptraâ„¢ is a dermal filler that is approved for correction of lipoatrophy, or facial fat loss, and is made of poly-L-lactic acid. Sculptraâ„¢ can create plump, lush looking cheeks; it can smooth out wrinkles and tighten the skin, all while promoting your own natural collagen growth. We recommend a series of Scupltraâ„¢ treatments so that you can gain the optimal results.

Sculptraâ„¢ is injected into the dermis and has results that last up to two years. It can be used in the nasolabial folds, chin, cheeks, and marionette lines.

What to Expect During the Treatment

Prior to the procedure, the areas are marked to promote accurate product placement. Varying types of anesthetic (topical or local anesthetic injection) are used, depending upon the area being treated, to minimize any discomfort. The product is slowly placed into the designated areas.

What to Expect After the Treatment

Following Sculptraâ„¢ treatments, you will be slightly red and swollen, with possible bruising. This will dissipate within a few days. You will be sent home with reusable ice packs to use throughout the day. This helps minimize swelling and bruising, while providing comfort.
