We Proudly Accept Most Insurance Cosmetic Surgery Cases
In today’s medical environment, most dermatologists and family practitioners can’t find a plastic surgeon that accepts insurance patient referrals. Here at Arizona Facial Plastics, we have trained plastic surgeons that accept insurance cases. Our plastic surgeons are participating providers on a wide array of insurance plans.
Furthermore, in most cases where our surgeons are not participating providers on a patient’s PPO based insurance plan, we will adjust their out-of-pocket cost or match their insurance network benefits. We will take excellent and competent care of plastic surgery referral patients and will always copy our notes to the referring doctor’s office. Because we are the largest single-site plastic surgery practice in the Phoenix metropolitan area, we are able to accommodate emergency patients. We are happy to accept emergency referrals for lacerations, open wounds, and a wide variety of surgical cases.
Some patients having a cosmetic procedure are pleased to learn that many medical conditions that require a procedure (scar reduction, mole removal, etc.) can be treated at the same time with no out of pocket expense.
Please call our insurance coordinator Sarah at 480-991-6877 to discuss your insurance case. We take a variety of insurances but not all of our doctors are on every insurance plan.

Reconstructive (insurance covered) surgical patients should be aware that there is no connection between self-pay cosmetic surgical procedures and insurance covered procedures. Many patients will have co-pays and/or deductibles due as balance after insurance. There is no policy of insurance only, either stated or implied, in these cases.
The cost of reconstructive surgical procedures involves several charges for services provided. This includes fees charged by the surgeon, the cost of surgical supplies, outpatient facility charges, anesthesia charges and laboratory charges. Each insurance plan differs with respect to deductibles, co-payments and non-covered charges. All patients are financially responsible to pay all charges and expenses not covered by insurance, including co-payments, deductibles and non-covered charges.
For more information on insurance covered procedures please call our insurance specialist at (480) 991-6877 or visit nvpsaz.com.
