The Priapus Shot Phoenix

Priapus Shot Arizona 1How does the Priapus Shot work?

The Priapus Shot®, or Orgasm Shot®, or P-Shot® uses growth factors to rejuvenate the penis to treat sexual dysfunction. The Priapus Shot® is a nonsurgical procedure that uses the growth factors from a man’s own body to stimulate penis rejuvenation to increase the size, sensitivity, and health of the penis. Although the Priapus Shot has several health benefits, it is best known for intensifying the male orgasm.

What are the benefits of the Priapus Shot?

  • Improved erection (5 point increase based upon a 25 point medical scale)
  • 60% of patients report an increase in penis length (up to a ½ inch) and girth.
  • The feeling of a more youthful and restored functionality in sexual performance
  • Dramatically improved blood flow causes the effects from medicines such as Viagra, Cialis and Levitra to be far more effective.
  • Because PRP is autologus (from your own body), there are no risk of rejection or allergy.
  • Results are fully realized in 1-3 weeks and can typically last over a year, some patients may require more than one treatment.
  • The procedure is non-surgical and cost effective compared to other treatments for ED and has no down time.
  • PRP is non-pharmaceutical and can be used for ED due to diabetes, vascular disease and depression, and others, without risk of drug interaction.

How is the Priapus Shot performed?

The Priapus Shot procedure begins with a simple blood draw. Then, using a proprietary technique, the growth factors in platelet rich plasma (PRP) are extracted from that blood sample and injected into areas of the penis that is most important for the sexual response using a patent-pending procedure.

The platelet rich plasma provides a temporary amplification of orgasm by producing penile tissue with improved sexual function.

Does it hurt?

Because these areas have been numbed with a local anesthetic cream, patients experience little or no discomfort during the procedure.

How long does it last?

The affect can last for up to six months or longer, but will vary.

Will it work on me?

It likely will. Although every patient is different, the procedure appears to improve male sexual response in almost all patients. Thus far, almost all men receiving Priapus Shot procedure enjoy an increase in their sexual response, and for many the increase is dramatic.

Is the Priapus Shot safe?

Yes. The Priapus Shotis done in our well-equipped procedure room with a highly trained staff and is a very safe and well tolerated procedure. The method of preparing the PRP has been approved by the FDA for orthopedic and surgical use; and PRP has been used in many medical settings, including the joints, the face and in fat transplant to the breast. PRP use in the penis has not been evaluated by the FDA.

What’s the difference between the Priapus Shot and Dermal Filler Enhancement?

Dermal Filler Enhancement uses an injectable product such as Juvéderm or VOLUMA to thicken the wall of the penis. The Priapus Shot uses platelet rich plasma and has a larger area of action. You can learn more about Dermal Filler for Enhancement of the Penis here.

What is Platelet-Rich Plasma?

Platelet-rich plasma or PRP is the watery part of your blood that has high concentrations of platelets which are the cells that help clot your blood and heal after an injury. The high concentration of numerous growth factors in PRP has led to its use in serval medical treatments including bone and tendon repair and regeneration. Although there has not yet been a large term study on the clinical effectiveness of PRP on all disorders for which it is used, it show enormous promise. PRP is successfully used in patients every day for a variety of conditions. The medical benefits of PRP appear to work in a similar mechanism with the Priapus Shot.

Can I have the Priapus Shot at the same time as Dermal Filler for Enhancement?

It is possible to combine both dermal filler and the Priapus shot. You can learn more about Dermal Filler for Enhancement of the Penis here.
